song 8 of 15 - Symphony of Darkness - a girl plays with her "shadow" in a run down mansion while it follows..
originally heard the arp similar to this in a commercial - and worked to expand it and work it into a real ambient piece, circle castle wolfenstein or castlevania feel, where you feel the wind and rain blowing through an abandoned building, and a girl innocently skipping along, while something.. else,.. follows.
the piano track almost becomes like a backdrop for this whole event, which I like because it adds even more minimalism to an already minimalist piece - making it more about the effects than the song itself.
This was probably the most popular original song I ever made out of all of my pieces.
I have since taken this piece and made 3 variations - one normal - one 3d, and one oldschool gramophone off an older version of the song without all the fx - enjoy!
